Has anyone have 88 on front screen on GE Ref .Every thing is cooling fine had power failure than power returned and they have 88 .Is there a reset procedure besides unpluging it. thanks Dave

I can't remember, but I do believe that's the Samsung built fridg.  Press and hold the Power Cool and Power Freeze for about 3 seconds and the unit should turn on.

I think its energy saver and lighting,hold for 6 to 8 seconds until unit dings and flashes.

Thanks Guys was a samung GE only in America.Energy and light did the trick reset all good thxs again for the help. Dave
