, this dryer stopped in the middle of a drying cycle and would not restart. This dryer uses a thermal fuse mounted to the blower housing to open up the motor circuit in the event of a prolonged overheat condition. The primary cause of this failure is usually a restricted or blocked vent, so anytime you replace this fuse, make sure your vent is clear. After doing a quick voltage check of the fuse and measuring 115vac across the two terminals (measuring 0vac would indicate a good fuse) this fuse needed to be replaced. Now it starts and runs a full cycle.
