That's what I like about working for a great boss.........myself!. I have cotton work shirts with my company name, and my personal name on them. I also have polo work shirts, and several jackets. For pants, I just wear jeans. Most comfortable combination. I'm lucky, a friend of mine runs a business that sells work shirts, and does all the embroidering. When I wear the jacket, I get asked for alot of cards, another way I advertise. But everything I wear is for comfort first.
I have worn shorts when it starts hitting mid to upper 80's, but not so much. I prefer the long pants, as they offer more protection to metal slivers, or any other stuff you might encounter crawling around people's houses. But this year, I have been wearing shorts alot. Once in a while, I go with dockers. They are cooler and look nice.
When I worked for my old company, I helped design the uniform. We asked everyone what they liked, and went from there. I feel it is better to be comfortable, you work better that way and can think clearer. Low, problem is, corporate big wigs don't give a damn about what you think, you are only a tool to them to make money. They don't care about your feelings. Synthetic fibers, you must roast in that thing.
