Awesome!  Thanks RAH!
I read your post about "duck bill" drain before I went thinking I was looking at a defrost drain issue but it's not.  Great info...I will let you know what I find.  Have some parts on order for their microwave so will look when I get back out there.
 :thanks:

I have a similar model, and had a similar problem.   One additional symptom I had when the water was on the floor....there was a thick slab of ice on the bottom of the freezer.   PROBLEM:  there is a rubber funnel called a duckbill drain, on the end of the tube that drains into the pan. ( Access to that piece is through the small grill on the back, NOT through the front.)   This part does not show on parts lists.   Some months ago, AJ posted a whirlpool tech sheet about this item...the rubber would soften from the heat, being near the condensor coil, and clog over, preventing drain.)
If you don't have ice build up on the bottom of the freezer, then this is not your problem.  But I understand it IS a fairly common problem, so I wanted to mention it.

Thanks Jimbo6679, this unit doesn't have that problem but that was one of my first thoughts.  Here is the post in referance...  http://appliancejunk.com/forums/index.php?topic=11336.0

I replaced a drain pan on one of these last summer. Took me a couple of trips to find it because of course everything is dry by the time you show up.

The customer decided not to bother with the repair because of the cost of the drain pan...they would rather throw down a towel every now and then.

I would go with what the other tech.'s have done to solve the problem and replace the pan.

Thanks.

I filled the drain pan with water after opening the panel at the rear of the fridge. The issue reproduced immediately.

The drain pan looks a bit difficult to remove.

Drain pan easy to change if (a) ..remove condenser fan blade (b) spray fan shroud rubber gasket with some silicone spray to make it slippery then work shroud out working it slightly back and forth .The key to getting it back in properly is take small wire cutters and modify the guides on the drip pan and matching areas on fan shroud so you can jam it all back together easily .
