LG WM2277HW/01 LE Code
« on: May 16, 2013, 10:48:19 AM »
It's been one of those weeks.  I'm the second company out on this and the customer has already spent $500. It has an intermittent LE code.  The first company replaced the hall sensor and control board.  I replaced the hall sensor again.  I checked continuity of the sensor and motor wires up to the control board.  There are no cracked magnets on the rotor. I don't know if it makes a difference but the rotor is the older style with the plastic hub. I tightened the terminals on the plugs. Sometimes it will throw the LE code as soon as you push start.  Sometimes it's later in the cycle. What am I missing?

Your going to have to troubleshoot the machine while failing. Probably a bad wire in the stator harness making it intermittent. You obviously checked it while reading ok... Good luck with this one. Your goin to need it :D

Squeeze the wire between your thumbnail and finger for a broken spot inside the insulation, between the base and the stator is most common, or try twisting the wires near the connectors while it is running? Watch you fingers....
