Take the evap cover off and ohm the heater and sensor. Not really hard just takes a little time. Put sensor in ice water should read about 16ohms.

thanks for that indeed i dit take the plastic out and could do with the icemaker still there ,, after a little searching on the diagram on the mainboardcover i found the connectors for the sensor and the defroster , sensor did read something as a value but will try tommorow again with your specs , the condensor was not reading anything , so my guess the condenser element is broken - i did see some kind of coil under the freezer element and checked that seems to be ok also , is that a heating element also ??

so off to town tomorrow in sunny thailand and hope the one shop that sells these parts is open than today they were closed ,and hopefully they have the part there or just a similar defroster that i can wel on the cables and shrink it closed

 any way i owe you a beer but you gotta collect it here

so beautifull the shop was open (halleluja) and could find the original part in about 5 seconds complete with connectors
and only 450 Thb. ( about 11.50 EU -15 USD ) offcourse not very cheap but beats the price when i have to send it for repair to the shop
