Sorry, I was still on page 2... There should only be (2) wires on # 15 Hi-Limit Thermostat

Yeah that is what we pulled the wires off of and checked...with the red and pink wires...both showed 0 when we tested them with the dryer running

The one on the left is the thermostat?! cause that is on the top and the other one is on the bottom...i thought the one on the bottom is the thermostat...now im confused...we tested the one on the bottom, which you have a big picture of and the one on the right in picture of all the components....am i supposed to be letting it try to run a full cycle when we test it?!

OK no wait the thing on the right in the picture with all the stuff we dont have...the fuse and thermostat look a LOT alike...but our fuse has a little prong thing on it like the one on the left in the 2nd picture...the first picture looks just like the thing that we tested the wires from

They may have changed the style, but each should nave (2) wires...

when doing that last test, the other one should stiil have the wires attached

RIGHT...if you look at the back of the dryer you have the heater cover and a thermal fuse on top and the thermostat near the bottom near the heater coil looking thing RIGHT?!?!?! the one near the bottom which I thought was the thermostat is what we did the last test on...there is a white plastic piece below that which has 2 places to plug wires in and only has one red wire plugged into it, that is the wire i was confused about

I don't know about that other wire..

I may be here sometime tommorrow, other someone else may be around...

Also, check the voltage at the (3) terminals on the back of the dryer.

120v from each of the OUTER ones to CENTER
240v across OUTER ONES

With power cord unplugged, check to see if the terminals are tight.

I could do that tonight hopefully...I'm at work right now, so I'm not near the dryer to test anything on it nor can I take pic :) But I will do what I can tonight...My hubby is to the point that he wants to just replace the thermal fuse and be done with it, but if that is not the problem then it won't work :-/
