How to Remove a Stuck Ferrule from a Copper Pipe
« on: January 03, 2016, 05:01:55 PM »
I had never seen one of these tools until the other day when I plumber showed it to me.

The one he showed me was just like the one in the first video, but there was so little pipe sticking out of the wall that he had to cut the ring on the wall off in order to have enough room for his puller.

After doing a little research I think the puller in this second video would be a much better puller as it wouldn't matter how much room you had behind the nut.

Thanks AJ. I'm going to the plumbing supplier today and see if they have that smaller one.

That smaller one seems to be a special order. Link on youtube video page.
I ordered one myself. :)

Of coarse it's not for everyone. If you have no use for it then it's simply not for you.
I do some plumbing too and just wanted share what I had learned as I thought it was a interesting tool.

If I did plumbing it would too. But there is only so much room on a truck.

The truck is not the problem.  It is the tool bag.  My right arm is 5 inches longer, and the chiropracter is planning his boat payments around my work schedule! :2funny:
