Kenmore Dryer 41781042000

The plastic connectors melted to the point that they started to burn. Popped the breaker, and there was some smoke. The wiring is actually in good condition otherwise. If this was a 12 volt automotive system I would not hesitate to splice the wires with some universal male/female connectors. Since these wires carry 110/220 voltage I figured a new harness would be the safer repair option. The supplier failed to mention that it was not a complete harness assembly. If the new part truely is no longer available, my plan "B" will be to visit a couple appliance repair shops and see if they might have a used harness.

Good idea, keep in mind this dryer was manufactured by Frigidaire.
So you maybe able to find something that works from a Frigidaire model dryer too.
