magnetron for Whirlpool GMC305PDQ6
« on: April 23, 2013, 12:08:50 PM »
Hello, we have a Whirlpool oven microwave combo model GMC305PDQ6 we need the magnetron part#4392009. My question is can we use the generic part 10QBP0231 it's about a third of the cost. I also would like to know is there a place on the web we can go and put in part numbers and it will cross reference them to other parts that will work, whether they are generic or another brand who's parts would interchange? Is there a place that exist like that or am I just dreaming?
Thanks for any help help you can give me.
Jen

The only issue I see could be the length of the antenna. The whirlpool mag looks shorter than the universal one. I did a Google search and that universal number came up a few times so it may work.
