NeedSamsung washer 8E error help
« on: September 22, 2014, 05:11:55 PM »
I have a Samsung washer model 476 and started getting the 8e error code before it was a year old. Thankfully I bought the extended warranty and have had they have replaced 2 computer/ control boards twice. It started again today. Extended warranty is over now so I'm on my own.  Can anybody recommend what parts to replace? I'm not sure exactly what they replaced just that it was 2 different control type boards. Thanks!

8e is a MEMS sensor failure. Id suspect this DC93-00278B and or wiring before any control O0

Domain,

Got the new MEMS Sensor (DC93-00278B) in today and replaced. Washer use to fill before the new sensor was installed before a got an 8E error. NOW 8E Error pops up right away. Motor? ??? ?

No buddy I dont think so. Sounds like you had an intermittent bad wire somewhere that had continuity until it flexed the harness after it filled. Now, you replaced the sensor and probably broke the connection for good.
