Washer won't spin

Hi,

I just joined the forum and have an uncooperative washer. My performa series washer will not pump or spin. The washer agitates but no spin. When it comes to the spin cycle, ther is silence and no movement, only ticking from the timer. With the lid raised and the dial on spin, i tried to spin by hand, but it appears the brake is holding.

The lid switch and plunger has been re-designed for the Performa models. The new part number is 12001908 and has a new switch, plunger and instruction sheet with it.
