I got another laugh reading the article where the TV station and the NTSB tried to explain the "error" in bureaucratese. Apparently, a "summer intern" exceeded the scope of his "authority!"
I think the most interesting thing about it is that sooo many people think that if it is on the evening news, it is gospel truth. Then this happens. If they can be fooled by such a juvenile prank, what other B.S. slips past them, or worse, is fed to us on purpose?
