Amana dryer making noise

I have an amana dryer and it is making a loud noise when you first start it and then it shuts off like something is caught in the motor. My question is how do I get to the motor I may possibly have a sock or something in there. My lint screen did come out and there were socks stuck in there. Please help I don't want to call out a repair man if it's something really simple.  :ticked off:

Hi,

Unplug the dryer and then remove the front panel that is towards the bottom below the dryer door.
Once you have that off there is a small air duct that goes from were you slip the lint trap in to the blower.
Remove that (couple screws) and then you should be able to get a good look at the blower wheel to see whats in it.
