got it.  The damper is stuck open at the moment.  Should it have continuity though when I test it?  The next thing I need to test is the temp sensor at the top of the fridge.  Thanks for all your help

There is a wiring diagram on rear.  You need to f find it and read DC voltage.  Let me know what it reads.  It's best you do this after a long period of doors closed and temp being known.

To verify MULTI DUCT function (damper open or closed)...

Press the small black TEST MODE button *once* on the Main Board (located near the center of the board)

1) Continuous compressor operation
2) Freezer fan runs (this fan motor pushes air through the Multi Duct Housing)
3) Stepping Damper in the Multi Duct OPEN (feel for air flow at the vent slots)

Press the TEST MODE button on the Main Board---a second time...

1) Compressor runs
2) Freezer fan motor runs
3) Damper CLOSED

If the Damper fails to close---replace the Multi Duct Assy

So very interesting development over the past hour.  Took apart the Damper motor and found a ton of water and ice inside of it.  The flap does move but you have to push it with a little force and it rotates the motor.  The continuity that did not exist before now does.  Did the damper test as mentioned above and the damper performed correctly.  Going to keep my fingers crossed and hope that no more water gets in, might super glue all the cracks.  If anyone has any thoughts as to how the water got in there and what I should be looking out for your comments would be appreciated.

The replacement Multi Duct has been improved (better sealing) to reduce moisture intrusion.

I'd replace it.

So looks like it happened again!  Any idea what the motor holder is called and a part number?
