Dwyer model 460 air flow meter
« on: March 18, 2013, 11:29:07 AM »
Rather than buying a expensive air flow meter, get this one on Amazon.
Just a simple manometer, and very rugged. Two balls in the column will rise to the top when measuring a dryer vent air flow. It's very good transient response will show air turbulence as the balls will jump up and down a lot. This will generally indicate a partial restriction.

If you can find a cheaper one with extra balls and similar size, it could be used.Just add balls till you get proper performance with a "normal" dryer.

$1, $2, $5, $10, $20, $50
