I got one of these new VMWs giving me trouble. What it does is in a wash cycle it will run the sensing cycle for about 15 seconds then the lock light will start blinking and it stops. I put in into spin and drain and it will start spinning for about 15 seconds then the lock light will start to blink and it stops.

It seemed logical to me that the lid lock was bad but after replacing it the problem still occurs.

It has the two errors. Basket speed sensor fault and motor unable to reach target rpm.

Now I am thinking it might be the actuator.

I am still very unfamiliar with this machine but so far I am not sure I like working on them.

Most likely the actuator. Check all connections and verify they are snug. If they are good, replace the actuator.
