These ugly critters were not native to our area in Canada .Apparently they first came up north from southern states as stow aways on truck undercarriages. Used to have severe and cold winters that would kill them off. Our winters now are warmer due to global warming and possums find our area to their liking .Lots of road kill for our turkey vultures to eat ....And now you know ...the rest of the story good day !

Had a customer with a blown thermal fuse. Unit was in the garage and when I removed the vent and slid it out from the wall , a possum backed out of the dryer vent. Chased him out of the garage with a broom. Got a good tip on that call! ;D

Last year I took a small one out of my bathroom closet. Near as I can tell it came through a hole that was knawed in the floor. Year before that I got another small one out from under the kitchen sink. They was both pretty tame. I put em out the back door. My buddy Brenda down the street put a bowie knife on the end of a cane pole and dealt with hers. LOL
