cabrio wtw6400 hall sener test

I am working on a cabrio washer wtw6400 first i replaced the bearings and shaft  and the plastic gears on agitator drive and hub gears i made sure i used the rite one as they send you two hubs  then i put her together and tried the diagnostic mode and the washer would only spin not fast but during the time for agitation it will only spin  I am wondering if when i put the hall senser back if i missed one of the clips so i probably need to check this out  the basket floates good how can i test the hall senser and if so what else could be the culprit  this unit is eating my tamales.

Hi: On the Hall sensor you should have 3 wires: 1 will be the 5 volt supply, 1 will be the 0 volt or Negative & the third will be the sensor squarewave output. It's easier to see the output if you've got an Analogue meter, connect the meter Black to 0v & the Red to the output wire. Set the machine to run & with a working Hall sensor you'll see the meter needle flick up to about 5v & off again as the sensor disc turns.

AJ YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY RITE I SHOULD HAVE REPORTED ON MY FINDINGS  ANY WAY FROM NOW ON I PROMISE I WILL DO THAT . ANYWAY ON THE CABRIO WTW6400 HALL SENSOR TEST I TALKED TO MY SEARS FRIEND AND WE CAME TO THE CONCLUSSION THAT I WAS HURRING THE DIAGNOSTIC TEST TOO MUCH.  I LET IT GO THRU THE DIAGNOSTICS AND IT CAME OUT FINE. THANKS TO YOU AND ALL OF YOU GUYS OUT THERE I WILL BE REPORTING MY STUFF EACH AND EVERY TIME AND LIKE YOU STATED AJ EVERY ONE LEARNS FROM THE OTHER PERSON THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO GET EDUCATED AS THERE IS ALWAYS SOMETHING WE OVERLOOK ON THIS APPLIANCES THANKS GUYS GOD BLESS YOU AND OUR AMERICA I AM A VIETNAM VETERAN AND PROUD TO HAVE SERVED MY COUNTRY
