Frigidare dryer model FSG748GFS1. I replaced the tub bearing and the drum glides, waited until the next day to run it because the glue needed to dry on the drum glide. The lady of the house decided to clean the inside of the dryer cabinet, while cleaning she knocked the ignitor out of its bracket and it grounded out and caused the timer to keep running and the drum wouldn't stop when the door was opened. We'll I put in a new ignitor and it glows but it will not ignite and now the timer will not advance either. I am wondering if points in the timer may have gotten welded together when the ignitor was grounded.

If the ignitor glows and then goes out without lighting the burner, replace the gas coils.  If it glows continuously, replace the flame sensor. The timer won't advance on the automatic cycle if there's no heat.
