To start with... Forgive me if this has kind of been answered/addressed by another make/model that technically applies to this Crosley. I believe it's similar to (or the same as) a Whirlpool unit?
This washing machine has had crazy shaking/walking problems almost since new. We put those rubber-like pads under each 'foot' and that didn't really help much at all. It now just shakes off those pads sometimes. It's not always like this... We've noticed the Speed Wash setting makes it happen the least.
Also, the unit tends to stop/pause during a wash cycle. Definitely happened on Normal Wash, but is now happening often (or, almost always) on the Speed Wash setting. Speed Wash starts at 33 minutes and it usually stops around 22 minutes. We've checked the filter and it wasn't too bad by any means.
Suggestions? Got any repair videos or manuals to take this apart? I've never worked on appliances, but am willing to give it a whirl to save the money for now. The unit was bought new in September 2009. We've had problems for years, like I said. Just lived through it and tried to catch it when it'd stop since you can usually press the Play button to continue and eventually get a load done. But, now it's just too annoying.
