Yes sir. You have a condenser fan motor and evaporator fan motor. Your evaporator motor and coil is located inside your freezer drawer, on the back wall. You should be able to open the drawer when cooling and hear and feel air out of your venting in the freezer, provided it is working. Another way to tell if your freezer fan is operational, is when you had your damper out, feel for air where the damper mounts. When that compressor IS ON and CALLING for cooling, the condenser fan should be turning as well. See if it spins with a screwdriver(UNPLUGGED). It may have bad bearings/bushings. If it is locked up, verify 120vac to motor. It does appear that your damper WAS open, but your posts are describing the opposite?   :D

 And of course, when checking for EVAPORATOR FAN operation, push in all door switches necessary! :D

Hi again Domain and Bailey,  after your last post Domain I went down and took these two pics attached both inside freezer drawer/compartment on back wall top and bottom.  Bailey, I opened freezer draw and held the light switch then opened the fridge and no cold air (or any air) coming out the damper. The condenser fan does move/spin but I haven't seen/heard it turn on since I've been at this granted on an on and off basis throughout the day.  Could it be possible that both fans are shot?  I hear a hum but again it does not appear fans are on....is the hum just the condenser?  How do you access the evaporator fan?  ANd Domain got your OOPs message... went down again as i had not held the fridge switches closed but still no air running through damper.

The HUM will be coming from the COMPRESSOR. The rear panels should be held on by two 1/4'' screws in the upper left and right of the rear panel. The center plastic duct cover also needs to be removed. This would be to check your EVAP FAN motor. You will also need a DVM, or volt meter.  :D

Hey guys...are there any onboard fuses that might have been blown when the electricity spiked when transformer blew or when electric was turned back on?

Open the freezer door and feel for air blowing out of the top vent area. No air, evaporator fan motor. If there is air ,close the door. Feel in the refrigerator area vent on the back wall. If no air, while feeling for air at top of the refrigerator, open the freezer door. If it flows through when the freezer door is open, your return air channel is blocked. Remove the back panel in the freezer and defrost the side channels and that should do it.
