Whirlpool Cabrio (VMW type) bearing noise
« on: February 16, 2013, 06:48:05 AM »
I've got a Whirlpool Cabrio (VMW version) that growls in spin.Noise is very similar to bearing noise with the original Cabrio design. I assume with the VMW platform I need to change the whole Transmission? I've looked at the teardown on VMW website and theonly bearings I see are in the transmission.

Thanks

Yes, at this point, thats the fix. just change the transmission. Remember to recalibrate the control after the new tranny is in.
