Maytag dryer

I have a Maytag dryer model mde508dayw motors running drum not turning built his own drum and belt is own motor idler pulley. But the drum will not turn

Double check the idler pulley as I have seen them wear down and drag on the belt.

Bailey:
This is an Amana Maytag. The idler pulley seizes up on these quite often. I carry a couple on the truck just because I might see 2 in one day.
