Don't usually work on these but a good customer called. Ran diagnostics and initially motor would only spin to 48rpm. Went inside tub and manually rotated tumblers. They went okay in one direction but when reversed, only went a bit and jammed. Then noticed inner tub seemed to be jammed. Think it's transmission, but want to make sure first before replacing this expensive part. I did pull the tumblers but only when I got back to the shop and downloaded the Shop Manual did I note that there were two tumbler bearings then the transmission. Is it worth a trip back to pull the tumbler bearing to see if something, like a small rock, got down in there to jam the gears?
