Kenmore Range

Have a kenmore Mod# 665-72173300 Membrane switch peeling due to heat,still funtions fine.Customer wants new one installed .Order and install new one wont program.There is only one connection to board.Can only install one way.Reorder go back install new same thing happens.Again wpl parts repacked boxes garbage parts or am i doing something wrong.Been doing this for 32 years and these replacement parts get worse and worse.
