G.E has been the leader in over charging for parts for 38 years that i been doing this and even work for the A holes for 7 years.

I went on a Frigidaire refrigerator in a rental this week. Needs a crisper drawer, 2 crisper drawer fronts, 2 door bars and 4 end caps. The parts alone are just shy of $300.

LG seems to be pretty reasonable on parts. Only a FEW exceptions. :D

Ratio of cost/products used on the GE and LG are very similar IMO. The ge is a molded plastic part ONLY where as the LG is put together in pieces with stainless screws and a premium finish. Both none the less still high...
