Possible failed MAIN BOARD---but does *not* typically trigger an "LE" if the Main Board is at fault (Motor Relay failure).
Rather than an "LE" error---it is more typical to see "0" in the display window on the control panel.

Correct.
I've come across an LG washer or 2 in which the MAIN BOARD was indeed at fault (for different reasons/symptoms)---and was No Longer Available.
LG arranged an exchange of the washer---for a new model.
NOTE: The washer *must* be examined by an Authorized LG Serice Center---to verify fault.
An exchange (when a part is NLA) can *only* be initiated by contacting/speaking with a SUPERVISOR (not a CSR).
Once the information has been given to the supervisor---the customer will then be contacted/notified within 5 to 7 business days by an "escalation dept" that handles such claims.
A process that can ultimately take 2 to 3 weeks---before a new washer is actually exchanged.
If this were my service call---the next thing to check/test would be:
1) Verify that the ROTOR magnets are undamaged (no hairline cracks)
2) Install a new WIRE HARNESS (
6877ER1016B) to rule out a cracked/intermittent connection---*inside* one of the wires.
This short-length Wire Harness runs/routes from the Motor and Hall Sensor connections---to the dual plug connections wrapped in a "baggie" at the rear of the washer (attached to the base/bottom with a zip tie).
