I know these are notorious for the "ice room" issues. I have frost build up on the ice room evaporator as if it isn't defrosting. There is enough frost so that it disrupted the fan from spinning. Any help is appreciated.


Is there a repair manual out there somewhere?

Hold ff and fz 5 sec test 2 is heater sensor sh or 3 shorted manual defrost ff+ ff-  5 sec    Ff 5 seconds clears

I have been unsuccessful in getting the ice room heater to defrost when trying to force it. It did have a faulty defrost thermostat, but when I replaced it, the heater still doesn't come on. I'm not sure if this heater should come on during forced defrost. Can anyone confirm or deny?

Forced defrost should turn the heater on.
