GE washer w/inverter motor that will not spin

Hey everybody,  I went out on a GE top load washer with the inverter motor that will not spin.  The model no. is WPRE6150K2WT and the servial no. is RS121740G.  It will do everything else ok (fill, wash & drain) but when it comes to the spin cycle the washer will just sit there and drains while the tub turns very slowly but never at a high speed.  The inverter motor is blinking 9x, pauses & repetes.  The customer had someone else look at the washer before she called me (neighbors I think she said).  They took the tech sheet out from behind the control panel and now it is nowhere to be found, along with all the screws.  I love these  backyark mech's.  Do you know anywhere where I can get a copy of that tech sheet and/or a service manual for this type of GE washer so I can repair this problem.  Thank You very much for all your help.

  9 flashes means the brake resistor is open. It is located inside the cover over the inverter and is not replaceable. The brake resistor is used to quickly slow the motor after spin. If it is open, the inverter control will just spin the motor slowly, maximum of 50rpm. Your only option is to replace the motor/inverter.

Thanks Eric, I'll call her with a price on the inverter/motor but I have a feeling she will not want to spend the money for the repair.

Well I was right, The owner opted to use the money to purchas a new washer rather than sink it into replacing the motor.  Thanks for all your help! till next time, Tom
