Hi I keep getting same fault codes ef e4 what should i do to fix thanks

What is the model number of your Polara range?

When are you getting this fault code?

whirlpool polara model ygr556lrkso.The fault codes are e0/f3 and e4/f3.This happens when the oven gets used.Thanks

Looking at the tech sheet for your range...


F3 E0
Top oven sensor open.

Check for open circuit. Sensor resistance should be 1k Ω to 1.1k Ω at room temperature. If not, replace sensor.

Bottom oven sensor open.

Check for open circuit. Sensor resistance should be 1k Ω to 1.1k Ω at room temperature. If not, replace sensor.

It's highly unlikely that both sensors went bad at the same time.  If the wiring is good I would suspect a bad control. 8190770

I just checked and it looks like this control is out of stock everywhere.  One of my suppliers says that it may be no longer available.  If that's the case, your only option would be to have the board rebuilt.
