Whirlpool WFW8300SW00 won't power up

Door switch good, getting power to the micro computer,  does anybody know what the output voltage to the door switch should be, and where to connect the negative lead from the meter?
I downloaded the tech sheet for a wfw8300sw, but

If you say it won't power up,   what do you mean?    If you try pressing power button on interface,   do you get nothing?    If that is case,  I would start looking at the interface,  and not the door switch.    Or are you getting lights on display,   explain further.
