We do have that and had no trouble putting it on. The piece in question goes on the very bottom. It is white plastic with foam attached to it. I can take and post a pic when I get home.

Here is a picture of the sound panel that the tech said "isn't needed unless you have a higher counter".   May I ask if you ever heard of such a thing?  I just assumed if the 480 model needed it on for sound purposes then the 580 would too.  We actually have another appointment for a different tech to come out and look at it, but I'd love to know your thoughts.  Thanks!

If nothing else update us as to what the other tech has to say about it.

Does it say anything about it in the installation instructions?
