I always check various components with power disconnected and remove wires from each component to prevent a GHOST feed.

removed the wire harness from motor and checked for continuity between the posts 5(red 31) and 4(grey 51) on the motor shows no connection. Does this mean dead motor?

that's what I was afraid of.
Thank you to everyone that helped.
Now I have to find out what is wrong with the other dryer, hopefully not the same thing.
