I am trying to find out the best way to check a duet MCU. Or is it just process of elimination.

What is the model number of the duet washer?

Sorry about the delay replying back model number is WFW8400TW 02.washer works with out clothes in tub.Work half the time with clothes.Water comes in the washer motor does not come on and time on display counts down.motor is good

Are you getting an f-11? look for a break in the wiring harness is what I have read in the past.
