Kenmore Elite dishwasher 665.17469300, control panel?

I have a Kenmore Elite and I'm not sure if the control panel went or not.  What's going on is the washing cycle buttons do not seem to work now, but the dry options and the start/cancel buttons still work.  I can start a drying cycle, just not a wash cycle.  What can I check?

Hi,

Your Kenmore dishwasher was manufactured by Whirlpool for Sears.

This is a common problems that I see often. Nothing you can do except replace the touchpad/control panel.

Your model dishwasher uses Touchpad/Control Panel Part # 8542350

I have attached a copy of the tech sheet for your dishwasher. I have not had time to look at the tech sheet, but it has a troubleshooting guide and it probably tell you how to test the buttons on the control panel with a multimeter. Without the buttons working correctly you won't be able to run the diagnostic test in the tech sheet.
