Kenmore Model Comparison

Hi Guys:
 I have an up-coming job to diagnose and repair a Kenmore front-loading washer (Model number 417.39012890). Before giving me her model number, she described it as a Frigidire Gallery. She sent me a picture message, and, from the image on my 1.5" screen, it looks like a Frigidaire front loader.
 
I'm not familiar with the Gallery, so I'm using what I know agout the Affinity series machines to help with the diagnosis. I have no doubts about my ability to fix it (It won't drain.)
 
So: My question (and the point of this post) is, Can I use the diagnostic routine built into the OEM machines, or do they change the routine (entering, codes, exiting diagnostic mode) for Kenmore?

Just an electro-mechanical timer on this one, no electronics other than the motor control.  Most likely just something stuck in the pump. Wiring diagram.
