GE Microwave
dentdaddy:
I dont have a model number, but here is the situation: found the unit to have a blown thermal fuse. replaced with a new part, ran it for 15 seconds and new TCO blew out. Where should I look from here? I dont know much about microwaves.
Any help would be appreciated.

Magnatron/Capacitor/Diode is shorted to ground... :D
Bailey:
Fuse or thermal fuse? Most microwaves have two thermal fuses. One on the mag and one on the cavity. Which one opened?
dentdaddy:
The one that opened was the cavity. This is a microhood, is it necessary to uninstall these to test/replace mags and transformers? If that's the case, it seems like I can't charge enough to make any money repairing them.
niobrara:
Yes you have to open it to test them correctly.
