Model #WDE336RBW2, the drum on this dryer would not rotate when started even though the motor would still spin. This is the symptom of a broken belt (or at least one that fell off), but when I tried to spin the drum by hand, it wouldn't budge either. So I removed the rear access panel and found the belt still in place and slipping on the motor shaft. After removing the top panel I discovered the rear drum bearing was broken off it's shaft resulting the drum not being supported. The slack in the belt allowed the motor to rotate and even blow air. I installed a new bearing kit
(the same one used on Frigidaire models) and now this dryer once again tumbles clothes dry.
