Is there a w/p p/n for the threadlock or just buy at the hareware store??

  The service notice says to use Loctite threadlocker blue 242. Commonly available at most hardware stores. It also recommends running the calibration function in diagnostic mode to recalibrate the washer.

Not sure if there is a Whirlpool part number or not, but you can just get it at the hardware store.

Yes you are correct had to plug back in the washer to get it unlocked....Sorry I'm only the middle lady......
