Removing the top of a Jenn Air Model JDS9865BDP

I have a Jenn Air JDS9865BDP duel fuel downdraft slide in range.  The left side burner/grill should have a post on the left and right that the grill burners sit on but the left post is missing.  I called the place that i purchased it from and thought i had set up an appointment for service but instead they just shipped me the post and nut.  I've looked all over this forum and came across a post about the range that had a link to the service manual but that link is no good, it just redirects to the main forum page.

I really just need to know how to remove the top cover.  It looks like i just take out four screws from each side but thought i'd check before i went to town unscrewing the range.  any help would be greatly appreciated. 

the missing part is part 11 in this picture.

sorry about that, it is kind of hidden there.  It's the little post that the grill burner sits on in the left side tray(i guess that is the name of it?).  since it was a new range and i really didn't want to void a warranty, i just called for service since it was under warranty.  kinda glad too, because the service guy and myself had to completely remove the range from the island.  disconnecting everything, gas, power, blower unit for downdraft.  then had to remove 6 screws from the sides that were covered up to get the top off.

repair only took like 5 minutes but all total was about an hour and a half.  the repairman(Sears) was not impressed at how the installers(contracted by Sears) installed the unit so he took it upon himself to get it right.  the top was not flush with the countertop but that was because they had not set the unit in the cutout correctly.  he did and got in flush and level while they could only get it level.  very happy that he took the time to get it right for us.

also as a bonus he wanted to make sure the burner unit for the grill was working properly since we had not been able to use it.  there must have been a loose screw in the ignitor electrodes cause it would not light properly.  he did some tightening and what not and got it working like a champ.
