LG WM2455HG Front loading HE washer

After four and a half years the washer started leaking in in the rear.. I found this website... The problem was a bad cold water inlet valve. Very easy to fix too. Just under the top of the machine. The part number is (AppliancePartsPros.com) AP4442608 and $38.00USD... Not bad at all!

Hot water valve does not get cycled nearly as much as the cold water valves do. Depending on the flooring you have below and whether or not it can be greatly damaged by the slight seep would encourage my decision. As you would find, the hot water valve is half the price and half the work.
