110.27112600 Rinse water level VERY low

Hi folks...I'm currently surviving in an apartment complex that has Kenmore commercial washing machines. Part # 110.27112600. I'm pretty sure these are Whirlpool-built washers.
The machine fills fine for the wash cycle, but the rinse cycle fills to between 1/4 and 1/2 of the normal level.
I've read that some commercial machines do this as part of an "energy saving" program, but it seems odd to me.

Any input or suggestions, other than to take my laundry to a commercial laundromat?

This model has two pressure switches. One to select water level, one for rinse level. The rinse level pressure switch is inside the console and doesn't have a knob. It's set at the factory to low level. You can change this by moving the detent so it fills to a higher level. I wish I could explain it better. Once you see it, you'll figure it out.

OK, that makes some sense...I doubt I'll be allowed to "tweak" the machine...but if enough of us bitch about the low water level, they MIGHT be willing to let their appliance serviceman to do it...

Sounds like, in the interim period, I'm gonna be hauling laundry to the laundromat and HOPE their machines rinse better.

This is a water saver washer. Pop the console and you will find a two wire quick disconnect. Unplug and plug it into the other two wire disconnect that is there. It may have tape or some type of plug or cover consealing it. This will solve you low level issue. Let us know how you make out.

Harold is correct, I've had to convert a few of these to a full rinse.

Thanks, all. I'll suggest it to the manager, she's also been complaining about the low rinse level...but it sounds like this is how it's supposed to work...I doubt I'll be able to change it.

I don't think there's a "jumper" on that model.
You'd need to disconnect the Violet-Yellow wire normally connected to one of the Water Level Switches,
and instead, connect it along with the Violet wire on the other Water Level Switch.
Rinse water level will now be the same water level as Wash.
