What Im talking about is the replacement for the direct drive model. Is that the link you sent me? Im not sure its called a cabrio though. I'm looking to buy a new washer, a whiirlpool, and Id like to see how it is to service first. Thanks

Yes, I believe so. But what some think or are told by a salesmen as being the replacement for the direct drive model maybe different then what I think.


The model number of the washer your talking about would tell us for sure what washing machine your looking at.

I called a friend and he said it is a called a 4800x and there is a video of the transmission and motor on  youtube, but nothing on the conrolls. Thanks again

Guess it could be a model WTW4800XQ2 then as that is the closest thing I see to 4800x.
In that case the service manual I posted the link to above would be the correct one.

btw: the full model number can be found on the model/serial number tag that is located on the washer.
