Maytag CRG9700BAL ignitor switch replacement & burner removal

Can't figure how you angle the strap without hitting the igniter. I tried every which way and it still crushes it.  Maybe you have a very narrow strap.  The set I got at Harbor is quite wide which is probably the problem.  In fact, for $5 it came with 2 of them (big & small) but both straps were too wide to miss the igniter and the smaller one wouldn't tighten enough to remove it.

Doesn't matter as I found a few sources for the heads for $10-$13 so I'm just going to replace them since they were pretty beat up anyway which will make my wife happy.  :)

The ones on this stove don't come apart.
