Hotpoint Refrigerator Ice Maker Leaking

I have a Hotpoint refrigerator that is leaking water from the ice maker fill cup area. The model # is HSM25GFTASA and serial is HL214375. This frige has the fill tube that is cut off at an angle where it goes into the fill cup and I thought I had heard of a cover to go over the fill tube. Does anyone have any info on this?

You could use metal foil tape.Its like duct tape they sell it at lowes.

      Not a good idea that foil tape is aluminum and is a very good conductor of cold which would cause freezing in the tube. The tube was cut off to try to prevent that exact problem.

Yes it made that way.if its bouncing out of the cup. Maybe water valve problem or ice maker. There no cover that I no of.

Or maybe saddle valve problem.If there all made that and they are on that model why would you want to cover the tube then. Common sense there something wrong with water flow or ice maker. If its leaking.
