Wiring an EMI Filter

Hello,

I have a Maytag Neptune washer (MAH8700AWW) and I need to reconnect the EMI filter.  I could not find info in the service manual or online.  Here is a picture of the filter and the wires.  There are four terminals numbered 1, 2, 3, and 4.  The black and white connector obviously goes on 1 and 2, but I'm not sure which gets black and which gets white.  The 3 and 4 terminals get a red-blue connector and a white connector, but again I'm not sure which goes where.

Do any of you guys know this info, or where else I could look?

According to the attached tech sheet the white wire goes on #4 and the red & blue goes on #5.

What does the wiring diagram on the side of the filter show? I can't make it out in the photo.

I'm not sure what #5 refers to.  Here's a pic that shows the terminals clearly marker 1,2,3,4 - there is no #5.

So are you adding this to a washer that did not have one to start with or are you replacing a EMI filter with a new one?
Is this a factory replacement part?

Looking at the wiring diagram on the filter I would go with...

Input
White #1
Black #2

Output
White #3
Red/Blue on #4

I would be interested in hearing what some other techs think.

I am actually just trying to reconnect the original filter.  I took the machine apart and replaced the spider arm.  But I did not mark the wire locations on the EMI filter before I removed the terminals.
