maytag microwave hood..door wont stay shut

i have a maytag mmv4205bab microwave/ hood ..the door wont stay shut..the microwave will work if i hold the door..do i have to replace the door or is there a switch inside the frame that is at faut?

If door won't stay shut, it probably is a broken spring in the door. The door is only sold as a complete assembly and for $156 you're probably better off replacing the microwave.  If door will stay shut but you have to push on it to get it to work, you probably have bad door switch. Door switches are cheap and well worth repairing.
