How to connect water line to our new refrigerator?

Monday we are getting a new refrigerator delivered. We have a water valve in the wall behind the fridge. The store we purchased it from will bring a water line, but is this a job for a plumber or something I can do myself?

I would use copper or braided hose instead of plastic, due to see alot of  pin holes or flood in houses from plastic.
