Kenmore Dryer won't shut off - model C1108470291

I have a Kenmore dryer Model C1108470291, S/N ICD5157856, DR-6. When I set timer to dry for 60 minutes (or any time) it runs the full 60 minutes but the drayer does not turn off. Even with push-start switch set to off. It will just keep running and running until door is opened or unplugged. The timer knob seems to be moving according to timer and is decreasing. There is "beep" sound at the end of the drying cycle.
What is wrong and how do I fix it.

Sounds like a bad timer to me. I would check to see if you are getting voltage to the timer motor. If you are then I would replace the timer.

Yes  There is wrinkle-guard option.

Yes it is "off" on push to start switch  - may be this only turn the buzzer off and not dryer manual shut off.

In wrinkle guard mode, this feature stays a going to keep the clothes from wrinkling. It buzzes every 5 minutes till you shut it off but it does not shut down on it's own. In timed dry it should only buzz once and quit.

It does not seems to matter, in both mode either in wrinkle guard or timed mode, it does not shut down.

Might just be a bad timer motor

When should I check the voltage?

When the dryer is running in a timed cycle and the timer is stuck just before the off.
If you have voltage and the timer motor is not running replace the timer.
